Compound Chemistry
WHO WE ARE
Compound Chemistry is a fusion instrumental duo whose name reflects the musical alchemy at the heart of their sound. Blending elements of jazz, fusion, funk, blues, and rock, the project explores dynamic grooves, improvisation, and expressive musicianship.
Formed in 2023 by drummer Samperoli and guitarist André Soares, the duo has also performed in expanded line-ups including trio, quartet, and quintet configurations, collaborating with guest musicians to bring additional textures to their live performances.
On April 17, 2024, Compound Chemistry released their debut self-titled studio album. Since then, they have performed across the UK, appeared at festivals throughout Europe, and received radio airplay in Austria and Germany.
Curiosity
Although the band has only one official studio album, their very first studio recording was a live recording at Strongroom Studios, where the band performed songs composed by the drummer and released as his solo project.
